I absolutely love chocolate. It's something I could snack on everyday. But most chocolate treats are unhealthy. These cacao and vanilla bliss balls are perfect for those days. They're packed with filling ingredients so you won't eat too many of them at once. I also added some maca to the recipe. It wakes you up a bit and helps to balance your hormones, which is very important to feel like yourself.

These bliss balls are filling but not heavy. The consistency is very smooth and they don't have a lot of texture. If you don't like that, I recommend these carrot cake balls :)
But if you want a slightly sweet and satisfying treat that helps you to stay focused during the day, it's perfect for you.

For this recipe you don't need a blender or any other special tool. Just a bowl, a spoon and your hands. So let's get started:

VANILLA & CHOCOLATE BLISS BALLS

Makes 14-16 balls

Ingredients

1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
2 tsp vanilla bean powder
3/4 cup coconut milk
1 tbsp coconut puree
1 tsp white almond puree
1 tsp Maca (optional)
2 tsp date sauce

Coating:

1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder
2 tbsp cacao powder
3 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp date sauce
1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)

Preparation

1. Add all ingredients from the first section into a bowl, stir after every ingredient you add. I used my hands to make sure everything is well combined.
2. Form little balls. Use about 1 big tbsp of dough for each ball.
3. Put the balls into the fridge for a few hours.

4. Mix all ingredients of the coating. Cover the balls with the chocolate sauce and roll half of them in the shredded coconut.
5. Put them back into the fridge.

Enjoy!
