Here are some of my favorite Zero Waste items I use almost daily. I'm by far not perfect when it comes to not producing waste or not using plastic. But I try my best. And these products helped me a lot.

When it comes to decide which Zero Waste product I like, I go for the fancy and pretty items or for DIYs. Because when I like the look of something or create it myself I actually want to use it and it won't end up not being used in my cabinets.

The following items are handy and things I use on a regular basis. They also make a great gift! So let's jump right into:

JARS & GLASSES

If you store your goods, don't use single use plastic bags. Get yourself some jars and glasses. I love to reuse my coconut oil and nut butter glasses because they're usually pretty big. If you need some bigger glasses for granola e.g. you can get them pretty much everywhere, like at your local food store or Ikea.

You can also use them to make a salad in a jar or chia pudding to bring it to work. Or make a vegan Tiramisu like I did HERE. I also use them to store my almond milk.

If you have one nearby you can fill them at a Zero Waste Store or buy things in bulk.

BODY CARE

When it comes to the bathroom cotton pads are a big waste product. It was crazy because I used like two of them every evening just to clean my face. Now I have these super soft reusable and handmade cotton drops. They're organic and extremely handy. You can use them like normal cotton pads and then wash them in your washing machine.

They're also special because they have two different sides: One is like this super soft fabric to remove your eye make-up and the other side is made from hemp, which is great to exfoliate your skin and hemp fabric is also antibacterial!

You can get them HERE. They make also a great gift 🎁

So the second product I use daily is my DIY deo spray. I used this all summer long and I love that I can add my own essential oils to create my own flavor. You can find the instructions HERE so you can make your own. It's super easy!

ON THE GO

The first thing I did to reduce waste was bringing a shopping bag everywhere. Because in my opinion not using those single use plastic bags is the easiest shift.
If I go outside or go to work I always have a cotton bag with me, they don't need a lot of space in your bag. And when I go grocery shopping I bring like three huge shopping bags, like you know you go shopping so bring your bags, it can't be that hard.
Nowadays I'd rather carry everything in my hands then getting one of those plastic bags 🙈

You can find the bag from the picture HERE. Or more unique and handmade cotton bags HERE. #supportsmallbusinesses 😊

The second item I really love is my glass water bottle from Equa. Using a glass bottle instead of a PET bottle is also a super easy step to take to reduce waste. Just fill it and bring it with you.
Most plastic bottles contain softeners which can actually get into your body and mess up your hormones. Make sure you get a BPA free bottle. I highly suggest using a glass bottle because like this it's sure you won't drink any nasty things.
I especially love the Equa bottle because of its look. And they provide many different designs and sizes. It's made of borosilicate glass, which is an extra strong glass which can handle hot beverages, too. It's also pretty solid.

You can find the bottle from the picture HERE.

I'm also a huge tea person. So a few years ago I got a metal mug from Starbucks. I'm not really into Starbucks at all I just got it when I didn't really care about those kinda things. But I wanted to show it anyway because throwing it away isn't an option 😝
I think gifting a nice coffee/tea on the go mug is a cute idea. You could like fill it with some homemade chocolates or cookies.
If you have a great place to get a sustainable mug to go please let me know!

What are your favorite Zero Waste products? Let me know I'd love to improve on my wasting game ✌

Just a little statement regarding the supported brands/items in case you wonder/care: I'm not sponsored by any of the mentioned brands. These are products I really use and honestly love. The cotton drops and bags are actually made by myself and are from my brand MIStY MYth. I would never show anything I'm not supporting by 100% (or at least mention why I show it like with the Starbucks mug). So if you are concerned or have any questions, I'm always open to answer them 📧
